The resort is convenient to the golf courses, shopping, nightclubs and restaurants of world-famous Cancun and is just 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport and the downtown area.

The Avalon Grand has been totally remodeled and upgraded to offer a more dynamic ambiance, featuring new furnishings and contemporary vibe. A new infinity pool has been added to the property as well as plasma televisions in the studios and suites. We also have a new VIP concierge check-in for all our guests. Further renovations include: a fully remodeled and expanded lobby; accommodations redesigned with contemporary Mexican furnishings and internet access and a renovated and expanded Spa Ka an (which means “sky” in the Maya language).

Standard rooms are by no means standard and include balconies and sitting areas. All of the rooms at the Grand are extremely large and feature distinctive layouts complemented by an array of Mexican architectural details.

Exterior additions include a new snack bar by the infinity pool and a new gazebo for wedding ceremonies. Furthermore, each of the restaurants has been refreshed with new furnishing and menu selections.
