Playa del Carmen is in the heart of the Riviera Maya of Mexico and an hour south of the international airport at Cancun.
The Nina offers plenty of Mexican hospitality, including daily maid service and a currency exchange located in our lobby. Our quiet hotel offers you total relaxation. We feature color satellite television for your enjoyment. But we don’t feature telephones or internet access. Relax and leave the real world at home!
Dining is just a short walk away on Fifth Avenue, featuring numerous restaurants and bars, or at our nearby sister property, El Tukan. El Tukan features two restaurants, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and a Cantina style bar.
We are only a short walk away from the passenger ferry dock for those wishing to travel to Cozumel Island, just 12 miles off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, directly across the Caribbean Sea from Playa del Carmen. The ferries run every hour all day long. Be sure to check the schedule for the last crossing from Cozumel back to Playa del Carmen.
