Leave all your normal luxuries at home and come, get in touch with nature at its finest. We are located on the edge of the jungle and by the magnificent Caribbean Sea with its turquoise water. Even with the strong Caribbean sun, the wonderful white powdery sand will never get hot enough to burn your feet.
The Zahra rooms and cabanas are clustered on a small property nestled between two beaches. The cabanas are designed in the traditional Mayan style, with thatched palm roofs, and some are raised on stilts above the beach. Zahra offers 22 guestrooms and cabanas. All cabanas and rooms have hot water. Electric lighting is available from morning until 11 PM and all rooms have ceiling fans operable during the hours of electricity.
Our restaurant-bar is open all day for dining and room service. Enjoy delicious traditional Mexican specialties and Mayan delicacies featuring a wide variety of vegetarian, fish and seafood options. Guests may also enjoy dining at the jungle restaurant surrounded by lush foliage at our sister property, Cabanas Copal.
Relaxation is a theme here. You are welcome to spend the day in your room or just lying on the beach working on your tan. Our sister property, the Cabanas Copal, located within a five minute walk from the Zahra, features a wonderful spa. We will help you schedule appointments there or set up massage therapies in your own room.
The famous ruins of the ancient city of Tulum are also within easy walking distance. The view from the castle is spectacular! Your children will love the iguanas and other wildlife that might be spotted in the jungle such as howler monkeys.
